  • Go to the DICBP Rb-E2F DATABASE link above - in addition to database and visualization facilities, this provides a rich resource of data on the Rb-E2F pathway. The data arises from multiple forms of genomic data, model/analysis summaries, and other information relevant to the integrated understanding of the Rb-E2F pathway arising from the program. At present, the database contains human gene interaction data for protein-DNA interactions and protein-protein interactions.

  • Gene expression data and oncogene pathway signatures from the Bild et at (2005) Nature paper (see Papers link above).

  • The BFRM software examples page contains the p53 breast cancer data set, and the oncogene data set.

  • Protein interaction data has been generated in a major E2F/Rb fragmentome Y2H study. A total of 268 target ORFs have been fragmented using a PCR-based approach to generate about 10,000 fragments that have been ligated into our standard Y2H AD prey vector. The full size range of fragments is recovered following ligation and bacterial transformation indicating that there is no preferential cloning of the smaller-sized fragments after PCR. The "maxi-preps" of the 100 AD prey libraries have been generated and are being used to transform yeast. Initial results on protein interactions within the E2F/Rb network have been generated. The Human ORFeome v3.1 collection, now totaling ~12,000 human ORFs, has been introduced into both DB bait and AD prey Y2H vectors and is being used to expand the existing Human Interactome.
